Terms of Service

Throughline provides tools for building resumes and cover letters, tracking job applications, editing and syncing LinkedIn profiles, and publishing portfolio websites. Features vary by plan, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these terms.

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice ahead of your next billing cycle. Usage of AI features is subject to fair-use limits described in the product.

You own the content you create in Throughline — your resumes, profiles, applications, and portfolio sites. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content in order to operate the service (for example, rendering your portfolio site or sending a section you select to an AI provider you invoked). We claim no other rights to it.

AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing anything Throughline generates before using it in a job application, on LinkedIn, or anywhere else. Throughline does not guarantee interviews, offers, or any employment outcome.

The Throughline extension updates your LinkedIn profile only at your direction, after you review each change. LinkedIn is a third-party service governed by its own user agreement; you are responsible for your LinkedIn account and your compliance with LinkedIn's terms. Throughline is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach or overload our systems, no reselling the service without our agreement, and no using it to misrepresent your identity to others.

You can stop using Throughline and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Throughline operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page and note the new effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
